Come and join us on a tour of the Yana Badu Wetlands in Chullora during Wurridjal Festival. The Yana Badu wetlands are a window into the natural beauty of the Cooks river as it would have been.

RSVP for Sunday March 24 via Eventbrite here

Previously known as the Chullora Wetlands, the area was renamed Yana Badu Wetlands in 2017. ‘Yana Badu’ means ‘Walk Water‘ in the coastal Darug language. The Wetlands provide an essential habitat for wildlife in the middle of a major rail transit hub in Chullora. Yana Badu’s reeds and ponds also clean stormwater before it flows into the Cooks River.

This tour is a partnership between Sydney Water and Canterbury Bankstown Council. This is a rare opportunity to tour the Yana Badu wetlands. This event is not to be missed!

Places are limited for this walk. Bookings are essential.
