The Urban Rivers and Catchments Program is now open until Tuesday February 2024.

A total of $109 million will be available from July 2024 to fund around 100 waterway projects around Australia. There are 2 competitive grant streams under the opportunity:

  • Stream 1 – small to medium-scale project grants of between $150,000 to $2 million for community-led projects. A total of $51 million is available under this stream.
  • Stream 2 – larger scale project grants of between $2 million to $10 million for projects that include co-investment. A total of $58 million is available under this stream.

Projects must be located within the eligible geographic boundaries of the program and meet the eligibility criteria set out in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.
