The Alliance participated in a Roof to River tour with Canterbury-Bankstown Council on Saturday 24 September.
Participants visited Cup and Saucer Creek wetland where they were able to learn about the river bank naturalisation project.
Next stop was an amazing residential property that has incorporated water sensitive urban design into their home, with the use of raingardens, vegetable raingardens and swales.
Finally, participants were taken to the new raingarden at Forrester Reserve in Kingsgrove where they participated in tree planting to put the finishing touches on this project.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the day for your time and enthusiasm.
