The Wolli Creek valley consists of multiple habitats from open parks and waterways, to open scrubland and dense coachwood forest, providing homes for a vast variety of birds.
An analysis of Wolli Creek Preservation Society bird survey data was undertaken by a group of final year undergraduate students from Macquarie University. The purpose of the research was to look at the differences in the populations of birds seen in the 3 time periods 1994 – 1999, 2008 – 2013 and 2014 – 2019.
