The Cooks River Restoration Project is a series of infrastructure works to progress the improvement of water quality, access and amenities and increase native vegetation throughout the catchment.
Key activities include: a new canoe launch facility (Bayside Council), waterway and access improvements in Parry Park (Canterbury Bankstown Council), litter reduction and access improvements (Strathfield Council), and new habitat establishment (Inner West Council).

The project is valued at $10 million. This is a 100% Federally funded project via the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program with in-kind contributions from Cooks River Alliance partners.
