The Cooks River Alliance would like to hear from you about your vision for the future of the river and catchment. This will inform future planning.

Join the Cooks River Community Assembly to write the final vision statement

The Cooks River Alliance is looking for 15 passionate people to join the Cooks River Community Assembly to write the final vision statement.

Over two days, participants will learn about the history of the river and how it’s managed and used. Participants will also gain an understanding of the community’s views on the river.

We’ll then work together to write a vision that reflects our community’s hopes and aspirations for the future of the river which will inform future planning.

To be considered, you will need to:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Commit to the following Community Assembly dates
    • Tour of the Cooks River – Sunday 18 November 2018 8.30am – 4.30pm
    • Community Vision 2030 statement workshop – Saturday 1 December 2018 10am – 4pm
  • Be willing to share and listen respectfully to your fellow participants
  • Tell us in a few sentences why you’d like to join the assembly. Participants will be selected based on these responses.
