Join Dr. Swapan Paul of the Sydney Wetland Institute to learn all about these enigmatic ecosystems on a twilight walk through Gough Whitlam Park!

Swapan is a dedicated wetland ecologist who has been with the Sydney Olympic Park Authority’s Wetland Institute since 1997. His passion is wetlands and he somehow ‘talks’ to them on a regular basis. In fact, his wife considers herself as the second wife; only after the wetlands!

In this walk you’ll explore the wonders of the unique wetlands of Gough Whitlam Park, joining Swapan on a journey through landscape, waterway, habitat and vegetation.

Bookings are required and all children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. The event entails a short walk in a flat area along paths of various terrain. If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with the Alliance to arrange accomodations.
